Legacy Builders of Cross Church
This is a mixture of ministry-minded adults that are involved in serving the Lord in a variety of ways. We have weekly Bible Fellowship Groups (Sunday School) for all ages. These people are very involved in worship, missions, ministry projects, fellowship, outreach to homebound and widows, yearly overnight trips and monthly outings as well as many other exciting events. Come join us as we seek to serve God with all of our hearts!

We have a joyful mixture of active adults who are busy serving the Lord. Our Bible Fellowship Groups meet each Sunday morning at 9:30 and 11:00 AM. No matter which worship service you attend, we have a small group waiting for you.

Each year, we take an extended overnight trip. We also have monthly outings and fellowships. In 2025, we took a five day trip to Branson, Missouri. In 2026, the trip will be to Kentucky to see The Ark, Creation Museum and other sites. We have a large quarterly fellowship with a different theme each time. This is a potluck meal with fun and entertainment for everyone. We also have monthly events such as day trips to various places and events at the church. We strongly encourage you to join us in these fun times of food and fellowship.

We have a group of people that are committed to contacting our homebound members. This helps them to feel loved. It also helps us to know how best to pray for them and meet their needs if possible. We send a Christmas gift bag to each of our homebound members each year. The Deacon Ministry hosts a banquet for the widows of our church.

phillip smith
minister to senior adults
Phillip Smith graduated from Howard Payne University in Brownwood, TX with a Bachelor of Music Degree. He also graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX with a Master of Music Degree. He and his wife, Charre, have 2 children and 2 grandchildren. Phillip has served as a Minister of Music in churches in San Antonio, Austin and Fort Worth, TX. Phillip is passionate about worship and serving the Senior Adults at Cross Church. He and Charre love serving alongside each other in order to meet the needs of these Senior Saints.
